Mission Statement

The Visitation Ministry's mission is to visit and minister to the "sick-and-shut-in" in their private individual homes, as well as those in group homes in part of the Upstate of South Carolina and Northeastern sections of Georgia. We make monthly visits to those who are no longer able to come to a church's worship service.

We bring regular services to them, whereby we offer prayer, reading of the scriptures, singing of praise songs, and, most times, the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this to encourage and uplift their spirits and to also let them know that they are not forgotten by the organized Church.

This ministry takes seriously Jesus' words: "when I was sick you visited me."
